About the Role

WISER is a global science workforce and research organization based in Washington, DC. We are seeking a Community & Talent Hub Manager to build and operate a large-scale quantum talent ecosystem in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, India. This role will manage the WISER Talent Hub, serving as the execution center for programs spanning training, research, workforce development, and industry engagement.

You will own day-to-day operations, partnerships, and delivery across talent programs, infrastructure access, government coordination, and reporting - working closely with global leadership and local stakeholders

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in Program management, education, innovation ecosystems, or workforce development

  • Experience working with universities, government agencies, or large-scale talent programs

  • Strong operational skills: systems setup, tracking, coordination, and execution

  • Comfortable working across policy, education, and technology domains

  • Excellent communication skills (English and Telugu required)

  • Experience in STEM, deep tech, or emerging technologies (quantum familiarity is a strong plus, but not required)

What You'll Do

1. Talent Hub Operations & Programs

  • Manage India Talent Hub activities, including:

    • Conferences, workshops, and meetups

    • Microgrants, stipends, and fellowships

    • Infrastructure and lab access coordination

    • Career fairs, job boards, and employer engagement

    • Run surveys, track participation, outcomes, and long-term talent pipelines

2. Education & Training Programs

  • Help set up and operate on-demand programs, including Quantum 101, Quantum Algorithms, Cybersecurity, AI, etc.

  • Coordinate promotion materials and outreach, certificates and credentials, program timelines, support and delivery logistics

  • Work with leadership to ensure quality, scale, and consistency across programs

3. Government, University & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work with local and state governments (especially Andhra Pradesh) on talent, workforce, and innovation initiatives

  • Coordinate accreditation and partnerships with universities and academic institutions

  • Act as the primary India-based point of contact for Universities, Government agencies, AP ecosystem stakeholders

  • Support MoUs, program pilots, and joint initiatives

5. Reporting & Execution

  • Track and report progress across:

    • Training program deliverables

    • Program metrics, participation, and outcomes

  • Provide regular updates to global leadership on risks, timelines, and execution status

  • Identify gaps, propose improvements, and scale successful models

Compensation

    Salary commensurate with experience.
