The WISER Insider Program is a new initiative designed to give students and early-career researchers exclusive access to emerging tools, platforms, and projects shaping the future of quantum technology. As an Insider, you’ll be among the first to explore new platforms and tools, contribute feedback, and help shape the next generation of learning and research experiences.
For our first insider program, WISER is partnering with BQP, the creators of BQPhy®, to open early access to their powerful new platform. This collaboration gives participants the opportunity to tackle large-scale optimization problems on modern high-performance computing (HPC) systems, significantly reducing computation and research time.
A Quantum-Inspired Optimization platform
BQPhy®’s Quantum-Inspired Optimization (QIO) platform designed to overcome the traditional computational bottlenecks associated with simulations. BQPhy leverages quantum-inspired optimisation algorithms that replicate the mathematical principles of quantum computing, such as tensor-based representations of quantum circuits, on traditional HPCs, CPUs, and GPUs.
QIO brings quantum-level performance to classical hardware, enabling engineers and researchers to solve large-scale optimization problems without waiting for commercially viable quantum computers.

Apply for Exclusive Access
Register below to join the Insider Program. Access approvals are issued within one week.

Complete Onboarding & Training
Participate in two short modules introducing quantum optimization, Q10 fundamentals, and BQPhy® navigation.

Submit Your Proposal
Show us how you’ll apply BQPhy®’s Quantum-inspired optimization tool. Up to 50 projects will be selected for full beta access. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling weekly basis by WISER and BQP mentors.

Run Your Project
Work independently or in teams to execute algorithms, analyze results, and contribute data and feedback to refine the next generation of tools.

$2,500 in Prizes & Conference Recognition
The top three contributors will receive fully sponsored passes to APS 2026, along with recognition through the WISER Awards and promotions. The remaining top 10 contributors will receive certificates and spotlight features across WISER channels.
