Job Description:
WISER is seeking a Research Fellow with strong academic and policy research experience to author a paper examining the emerging global quantum education ecosystem and the role of WISER in shaping inclusive STEM and quantum workforce development.
This fellowship is designed for a current or former Masters, PhD student or postdoctoral researcher who is passionate about translating research into actionable policy insights. The Fellow will synthesize global education models, assess program outcomes, and help frame strategic recommendations for governments, universities, and industry on building future-ready quantum talent pipelines.

- PhD or postdoctoral researcher in a relevant discipline (STEM education, science and technology policy, quantum information science, or related field) - Strong record of research, analysis, and publication in academic or policy-oriented venues. - Demonstrated ability to synthesize interdisciplinary research into accessible policy narratives. -Familiarity with quantum technology developments and workforce trends. - Exceptional writing and communication skills, with attention to clarity, structure, and evidence-based argumentation. - Background in quantum science, technology, and innovation, or workforce development research. - Experience in quantitative or qualitative program evaluation, or in mapping global education ecosystems. - Prior experience engaging with multilateral, government, or industry stakeholders.
