We’re looking for a proactive, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to help shape our next chapter. Whether you’re seeking part-time flexibility or full-time commitment, you’ll work 100% remotely, collaborate closely with a lean, high-performing team, and have a direct voice in strategic decisions. What You’ll Do:

  • Source & Qualify Leads: Identify prospective clients across industries eager to explore quantum computing applications.

  • Build & Maintain Pipeline: Nurture relationships, track opportunities, and manage our CRM to ensure a healthy, visible sales funnel.

  • Develop Proposals & Pitches: Translate technical quantum capabilities into compelling business cases and tailored engagements.

  • Close New Engagements: Guide prospects through discovery, scoping, and contracting, turning interest into signed projects.

  • Represent QSL at Conferences: Attend select industry events (limited travel) to network, present, and showcase our unique value proposition.

  • Strategic Planning: As part of our lean leadership, contribute to organizational strategy, helping shape growth initiatives and new service offerings.

Who you are:

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and love taking ownership of ideas from concept to execution.

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or partnerships, ideally in technology, consulting, or R&D services.

  • Curious about quantum technology; technical background is a plus, but not required.
    Strong writing and presentation skills; you can make complex topics clear and compelling.

  • Remote work isn’t for everyone; you’re disciplined, organized, and proactive in managing your day.

 

Compensation:

  • Flexible Engagement: Choose part-time (20–30 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) to fit your lifestyle.

  • Remote-first organization: We are based in Washington DC, USA - but offer 100% Remote opportunity. Work from anywhere, with occasional travel for key conferences.
