About the event

Event Description

Join WISER for the culmination of the 2026 Quantum + AI Optimization Summer Program Industry Challenges.

Throughout the project phase, participants worked in teams to tackle real-world challenges developed with WISER and industry partners. Teams explored how classical optimization, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, quantum-inspired methods, education design, and hybrid approaches could be used to address complex problems across industry and education.

On Demo Day, selected finalist teams will present their projects to a panel of judges and the WISER community, sharing the problem they addressed, the approach they developed, the methods they evaluated, their results, and the limitations or next steps they identified.

Projects developed through the 2026 Industry Challenges span work connected to Moderna, BQP, Vanguard, and WISER Education, including applications in life sciences, advanced computing, financial services, quantum education, and workforce development.

Demo Day is an opportunity to see what happens when learning moves beyond theory…
